June 2021, the craziest month of my business yet!

I am still running this business alone after almost 4 years and I tend to take on too much, pretty much all the time. This year I had goals to have some help along the way and get things more organized. Easier said than done.

I love getting to do what I want and that I work for myself, but physically and mentally it can get overwhelming. I honestly never try to take on too much, but it happens and I somehow push through.

June was the best month I had in awhile thanks to my kids camps, a wedding, private events and of course I had my 44th birthday so it was packed with all kinds of crazy days. I taught 33 classes this month, the most classes I have ever taught in a month since I started this business in August 2017. I also sprained my ankle and had a foot that got infected from my fall. Thankfully both are on the mend! I wouldn’t trade being a business owner for the world, however, I am extremely exhausted.

The challenges of running a business alone means the busy days get busier, sleep and days off are harder to come by, but at the end of the day, it’s worth it.

I know that there are amazing things coming up and trust me, I cannot wait to share them with you. I appreciate every single one of you reaching out and checking in on me. There are many days my energy feels depleted and it helps to know you are still there cheering me on.

I am super grateful to each of you! I know you have all been patiently waiting for in person classes to return and so am I. I have recently hit some roadblocks that have prevented those from happening as soon as I would like, but I promise they are coming back and there will be a schedule hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

Know that you keep me going and keep me inspired and I never take for granted that you spend your time, money and energy being there for me. You are why this business is still here.

I hope to see you all soon in a class! Virtual classes are staying even when in person classes return:)

xoxo
