October's highlights!!

Happy October! a few days, late:) I am super excited to have a ton of new classes this year including my first Croissants class, Boozy apple crisp, Pumpkin beer bread, Sour cream maple cake class, Boston cream pie macarons and my spiderweb cake class to name a few:)

Every year I work on figuring out what classes would be fun, unique and a little bit different than what else is being offered. Why? Because, there is much more to baking besides cupcakes, Cookes and cakes and I know that YOU are fully capable to learn these on a computer and in person.

I am the first to admit that I did not realize the extent of how many types of classes I would teach when I began teaching on February 5th, 2018. I thought a few classes a month and people would find something else.

I have taught over 500 classes in 3 1/2 years and over 200 topics to date. I love coming up with ideas and I also love my students suggestions.

We both sometimes need a little push outside our comfort zone to see what skills we can learn and how they can apply in more than 1 way.

Baking is not as scary and scientific as people think. You can absolutely change flavors and apply techniques to make countless desserts.

This year’s challenge for me has been the croissant. I love it and have intermittently been trying to relearn it, not only as a student, but to teach it as a class. My first class is a 2 day class and it is less than 2 weeks away.

Yes, I still get anxious and nervous to learn something new and especially to teach something new, but I know that my students are amazing and I am definitely up for the challenge of finally teaching this class.

If croissants is too much for you, (I get it), there are always classes for any skill level available on my website. I encourage you to sign up and join me for a class. Have an idea? shoot me a message! it just may end up on the schedule and may end up being one of my most popular classes. That is exactly how I began teaching French Macarons:)

October’s classes are hopefully going to give you a new experience, a new recipe, a fun way to gather with friends all over the world. Each lesson comes with knowledge, experience, and a delicious homemade treat to enjoy! I truly hope to see you soon! Reach out anytime! I appreciate you being here. You make me so happy to still have this business. It is definitely a roller coaster! Gift cards are always available by clicking “online ordering” on the home page.

xoxo
