2022 Stats

As 2022 comes to a close, I always review the year from every point that I can and see what were the highlights, the misses, the changes that need to happen and what to add/take away for the next year of this business.

The HIGHLIGHTS OF 2022!

  • I taught 88 classes including 64 topics to new and returning students all over the world. THANK YOU!

  • I was able to start teaching some in person classes again thanks to the spaces I was able to utilize at both Dave’s Market and Eatery in Cleveland and BurkleHagen Studio in Cleveland. I appreciate the use of both facilities and am continuing to look for a space of my own. if you know of any spaces, please let me know.

  • I was able to see you, sell my desserts and connect with you at my pop ups at Little Spark Refill shop and it was truly one of the highlights of 2022 for me. From the outside it doesn’t look like there are as many struggles as their truly are as an entrepreneur and its not fun to highlight the negatives, but I really needed to see you in real life and I always love sharing my passion with you and my desserts. THANK YOU RACHEL AND ALL THE STAFF AT LITTLE SPARK REFILL SHOP for sharing your space with me 6 times between May and December. It meant the world to me. THANK YOU to all of you that showed up, helped, said hello and purchased sweets.

  • I was able to go back on New Day Cleveland which is always a fun experience and highlight some of my upcoming classes.

  • I was able to teach new and familiar students from companies that hosted team events and from you that gathered friends and family that booked private classes.

  • I was able to put out 2 recipe booklets that you can purchase on my website that includes 10 recipes each for $10 each booklet and are able to be instantly downloaded. So far the feedback has been great! Thanks to those of you that have purchased and shared your bakes with me!!

  • I was featured in Canvas Rebel, The Westshore sun and on Cleveland.com this year. Thank you!

  • I joined the Rocky River Chamber of Commerce and was able to attend several events so far to connect with other local businesses.

  • I continue to grow as a Teacher, Entrepreneur and Pastry Chef and I appreciate all of your excitement, patience and support.

  • 5 1/2 years into this business, I expected to have a space by now and be able to maintain several employees, but the pandemic held this business back more than anyone could have expected. As a result of the business having such a tough year, there will definitely be some changes in 2023. Stay tuned to see what those changes will be.

  • I will continue to keep on pushing through the challenges, but I need your support.
